This token is struck both in brass and copper. It is the same as No. 13 which is a halfpenny, but is smaller and lacking the 1/2. |

Bradborne was a member of the Corporation, and signed the return of members in 1660. When Dr. Calamy visited Andover and preached there, he was the guest of a Mr. Bradband, a substantial shopkeeper. Some old documents of the Congregationalists show that a Mr. Bradborne belonged to that body: and no doubt the issuer of this token was the person referred to by Dr. Calamy.
