O  Bare head of George V left, truncated below the neck. On the truncation B.M. (Sir Bertram Mackennal) just to the right of center. GRA: and BRITT: far apart with the TT close together. Toothed border and narrow, raised rim. Blackened finish. Composition .950 copper, .040 tin, .010 zinc

R  Britannia, helmeted and wearing long robes, seated on a rock facing right. Her left hand is raised and grasps a plain trident just below the prongs. Her right hand rests on the upper left edge of a large oval shield bearing the crosses of St George and St Andrew (the Union Flag). On the right side, the horizon intersects Britannia exactly where her legs cross. Date in exergue. Toothed border with a narrow, raised rim
