Royal (or State) Farthings of James I, Charles I, and the Commonwealth

The farthings of James I fall into two main categories, the Harington and the Lennox types. Additionally there is one pattern
that was struck. The Lennox is divided into the round and oval (for Ireland) types. All in all, the farthings are divided into
a total eight types and the subdivisions used by Peck and Spink will be followed here. These are:
